Revisiting the Goddess

We are pleased to present Revisiting the Goddess: from Venus of Willendorf to Trucker Mud Flaps; a monumental, multi-media mural that explores the prevalence of ancient divines, earthly goddesses and power archetypes. In this collaborative installation, artists, authors, poets, musicians and performers join together to pay tribute to these figures of herstory. Aluminum, plastic, rope, sisal, vessels, canvas, paint, stone, wood, language, word, film, music, and performance transform and enlighten the goddess.  In this depiction are the inspiring elements of thought, influence, vigor, love and intellect. The heroic, ambitious and larger than life installation, Revisiting the Goddess: from Venus of Willendorf to Trucker Mudflaps, is an ever-morphing amalgam of imagination and spirit of the collective.
